Were? They’re still around, and (finally) now come with a m.2 slot for a boot device (it took them until Gen 11 to do it, but better late than never). And the Gen 11 doesn’t require an additional module or activation key for iLO, which the Gen 10 did. Still only 4 bays, though, and still expensive. But I’m happy with my Gen10+ as a lightweight Proxmox host, and my parents’ Gen8 is still chugging along serving CORE for them.
