A long time Windows user, trying to get TrueNAS running to provide an online, safe, independent storage facility for my music, photos, and selected documents.
My ultimate goal is to give online access to remote family members, but No 1 prioroty is to get an old PC up and running with 2x 4TB HDD disks.
At this time, I need help to get TrueNAS up and running. I’ve found YouTube potentially misleading or out of date and have met my match in finding a simple (or straight forward) instruction set on how to get to 2nd (or even 3rd) base, and from there a home run.
