25.10.2.1 - Apps not automatically starting when updating through UI

Hi all,

is anyone else observing this? For a couple of days now - I cannot pinpoint a particular release - I get the notification that there are apps to update. I click on “Update all”.

• all apps are properly shut down
• all are properly updated - the UI shows “Up to date”
• but they are not started automatically

When I click on the small they start and run just fine.

For example today there was an update for Vikunja available - status after the update:

Yes, this is an intermittent bug; I’ve encountered it at least three times, and it existed before version 25.10. The probability of this bug being triggered increases significantly when the network connection is poor.

Network connection from where to where? To the app repo? My internal network is rock solid, I have more monitoring in my home lab than some enterprises
