How can I fix it without loose my pool data ?
Hi , Im new to truenas and I have a problem with creating SMB .
Please explain the entire problem. You were on Core. What version, hardware and pool setup? You had SMB shares?
You installed Scale on a different machine or you did a install of Scale over Core? Why didn’t you upgrade the Core machine to Scale?
Did you import the Core based pool into Scale? What was your procedure for your step 1?
Step 2 sounds like you upgraded the ZFS version and features of your previous Core pool to whatever Scale has a current.
I am looking for the whole story on what happened, what you did to get to this current point as all that information may be important to your current problem.
My first system was TrueNAS CORE 13.0-U6.2 on PC with intel core i7 first gen and 32gb of ram not ECC and 8 HDD not mirrored everythink was allright , next I install TrueNAS SCALE 24.04.2 on other PC Dell R510 12x3,5 1xE5520 16GB RAM ECC H200 2x750 and install all of 8 Hdd , next I upgrade zfs version on new pc and create new SMB .But with one drive ./HDD I have an error like I send printscreen before . Others 7 HDD work fine . Sorry for my English
Wath if I create new folder on this pool ? And next move all files to new folder , next delete old folder with premissions . And create new premissions to new folder .Will it work ?
Could you go to the Storage tab on your TrueNAS dashboard and post a screenshot?
Try to fit as much info on the one screenshot. You may have to scroll the view.
I want to see the status of your disk and pools. I added an example screenshot
Dragonfish-24.04.2
I was hoping to see all the disks and pools.
Do you have 8 disks with a separate pool on each? 8 VDEVs with 8 pools?
I saw your first post but I was trying to verify that was how it actually was and not a translation error. That is very unusual as if any disk dies, you loose the pool and data.
Since you upgraded the pools features to Scale, you can’t bring them up in the current TrueNAS Core version now.
I don’t know if you found a bug / software problem or you have problems with the SMB share. Have you tried rebooting TrueNAS and have the same problem afterwards? I think your data is there and safe, it’s just not shared over SMB.
You can try to view the data by going to System Settings, Shell and then listing the files. Something like ‘ls /mnt/EMULATORY/Emulatory’ or ‘sudo ls /mnt/EMULATORY/Emulatory’
I was going to wait to see if anyone comments about your error message in the first post before proceeding with anything.

I would suggest using Report A Bug and uploading all your details. You can do this from forum link at top or within TrueNAS (Feedback)
An exception about ACL type mismatch is not a bug. It means that you have inconsistencies in your dataset configuration for datasets nested inside the SMB share that need to be resolved manually.
Problem solved in shell I create new folder and move all files to new folder from old one .
Next add ACLs to new folder and create smb share and everythink is working . Thank you everyone for help
