Problem/Justification
The HPE out Lights Out Management has the ability to integrate with the OS installed on the Server it is managing, with AMS you would be able to better monitor HPE servers running TrueNAS. https://downloads.linux.hpe.com/SDR/project/mcp/
Impact
HPE server users would have access to disk status and other information of the hardware running TrueNAS, through the inbuild LOM.
User Story
Users using HPE Hardware would be able to view hardware status in iLO, at a large scale. Either it would be installed by default, like open-vm-tools or you would have to switch it on in settings.
