Alert condition notifications

I checked the documentation, but i wanted to make sure. When setting notification severity levels for email, if i set it to warning level, does it email me for warning plus anything more severe or do i need to set individual tasks to be emailed for other types of severity such as critical, alert or emergency? In short, does the warning alert level cover more severe alert conditions? I am running Dragonfish-24.04.2.
