I was wondering how the app failover worked in a truenas cluster
is it a thing at all?
how fast is it on average?
anyone have any experience with it on plex?
thanks in advance <3

Currently , automated “App failover” is only available TrueNAS Enterprise HA appliances. One controller takes over from the other during a hardware failure, network issue, or software update.
ZFS protects your data and you can do a manual App failover based on ZFS replication between two standard TrueNAS servers. You can also move the drives between systems (assuming fire/flood is not the root cause).
