Setup as follows:
Windows-Server 2019 with SMB share
TrueNAS
both in same Network and reachable
Target
RSYNC the Shares with hardlinks to subfolders daily1, daily2…daily7, weekly1, weekly2…weekly4, monthly1…monthly12 and rotate every day
I`ve build a mountpoint in fstab for the smb-share
the mountpoint ist correct mounted in mnt/…
But i didn´t find a solution for access the mounted share as source and my local dataset as target inside TrueNAS
Yes, we have this realized on a simpel linux or in OMV as a script.
But TrueNAS is nicer than blank Linux…
Can you give me a hint?
