Black screen, power-off when trying to bood USB

I’m trying to install TrueNAS from a USB. I had previously installed it through a ProxMox VM, but I want to run it directly. The screen remains blank on power-up, and seconds later, the system shuts down.

I’m running a Ryzen 9600X on a B650 board. The only other hardware installed are two clean SSDs and a pool of 4 HDDs. I’ve tried booting it with and without the HDDs connected. The default behaviour of the MB is to go to the firmware setup screen if there’s nothing bootable, which I’ve verified happens without the USB drive connected.

Just a thought, in case you missed to check; could you please try disabling Secure boot in bios and try booting the USB again?

That fixed it. It’s weird, seeing as ProxMox worked fine with it.
