Building a NAS for 4k editing/Code compiling; Is this set up okay?

As title states I am building a nas for a web dev who also edits 4k video and DSLR photos. The most that people would be editing video off this NAS is 2. Each would be using a Mac Studio or Studio Ultra and a brand new macbook pro maxed out.

Here is what i have planned, any advice on config or hardware setup appreciated

Network: Unifi Dream Machine Pro
hoping to do bonded dual 10gbe nic from NAS to network
both workstations will have 10gbe

Hardware:
Mother Board: ASUS Pro WS WRX90E-SAGE SE EEB
AMD Ryzen Threadripper PRO 5955WX (could go next step up if needed)
128GB ECC Ram
4x 1tb Micron mx500 SSD (already have laying around)
8 30tb WD Red pro
4x 4tb Western Digital Black NVME
Need to figure out a HBA - recommendations? (case has 15 HDD slots)

wanted to double check if this is the start of a NAS that can handle dual workloads of editing 4k video or compiling code.

IMO, editing always would be faster locally. And should be done locally, unless two people are editing the same file simultaneously (which sounds more like a pro use case, not a web dev use case).

Also, I think YouTuber Spacerex’s videos can be useful. He makes videos about NAS from a photographer/videographer POV.

I do agree with you, and the owner doesn’t really want to grow any more than what he has but he has a hard time saying no to money.

i wouldnt be surprised if he has 3-5 people working off this things within a year or two.
