Can I clear the pool with error and replace disks

I have pool with an error. It’s a single file. However the file works and is present. I have scrubbed the pool, rebooted multiple times. I have also re-seated and replaced all SATA cables. Should I clear the pool, scrub the pool, restart, and then if I get a healthy pool, should I then start replacing disks. System is running NON ECC memory (tisk tisk I know) New to forms so I’m going to try and list all information I think is needed. If more input is needed please let me know.
