Can no longer connect to Plex, Radarr, Sonarr web servers

Could use some advise…

I can no longer connect to any of my web servers. Jails are running and I can still ping them via host name or ip address but can’t bring their web pages up using their default ports.

This seems to have happened after I created a new certificate. I noticed the freenas_default certificate created upon original installation had expired. I followed instructions for creating a new certificate but ever since, I can’t access these web servers. Still no problem access TrueNAS web.

I’m running TrueNAS-13.0-U6.2

Thanks, Glenn

Both server and your client machine can ping ip addresses/hostname of jails?
Have you try to reboot the server?

yes, can ping the host names and ip addresses of the jails.

rebooted many times.

I’m assuming it has something to do with the internally signed CA and Certificate I created becuase the issue seemed to happen right after.

The fact that neither with ip you can access to the jail GUI seems a bit strange to me, and make me suppose that maybe something Is going wrong but not server side. Have you tried a different browser, and a DNS flush?

Are you using plugins?

Could it be related to ssl/tls?
Are the public certificate and the private key correctly referenced in each jail configuration?

All hosts are pingable via host not or ip.

What strange is Jellyfin still comes up.

http://jellyfin:8096/web/index.html#!/home.html

But I can’t bring up:

http://plex:32400/web/index.html#!/
http://radarr:7878/
http://sonar:8989/

Get the following message when trying to access from every client.

This site can’t be reached

plex refused to connect.

Try:

ERR_CONNECTION_REFUSED

These are common problems that have arisen in the last few years because the plugins are not maintained anymore. We can’t be sure what the real issue is, but I suspect it is a combination of outdated -RELEASE version, outdated packages, and just overall outdated plugin commands.

Not sure if that’s the issue only because these are all different apps and the issue occured all at once right around the time I was messing with the certification.

I’d go back to your config file made prior to “messing with the certification” bit

have you try to flush dns / browser incognito mode?
Did you try directly with ip instead of the hostname?
(off course did you already check from SSH that service are up and running, right?)

Plex, Radarr and Sonarr services were down (not sure why). They’re no longer starting with their host comes up. Looking for log files to see what’s happening.
