I have started TrueNAS-13.0-U6.1 recently and immediately found a problem exact same as below.
Can’t copy read only files to TrueNAS
I do copy by grab and drop on windows file explore Win10/Win11 from FreeNAS to TrueNAS then it is failed.
Also robocopy is failed as well. (Robocopy error 5 (0x00000005) … access is denied)
robocopy \server1\DATA51 \server1b\DATA51 /mir /R:0 /W:0 /NP /NDL /XJD /XJF /FFT
They said that “Scheduled to be fixed in 13.1 / 23.10.2 / 24.04-RC1.”, so I have tried to update to TrueNAS-13.3-BETA or TrueNAS-SCALE-Dragonfish.
It seemed the problem was fixed on both of the update but it is fixed on a newer created dataset only.
Is is not fixed against the existing dataset even after upgrading pools.
How can I get this fixed for existing datasets?
Will it be fixed at the TrueNAS-13.3-RC1?
