I have a TrueNAS Scale (Dragonfish-24.04.2) system connected to an Active Directory (AD) domain. The NAS is currently reporting a fault, and I need to leave and re-join the domain to resolve the issue. However, whenever I uncheck the ‘Enable’ option and save the changes in the Active Directory section, the action does not complete successfully.
Additionally, when I attempt to disable the Samba service, I encounter the following error on my NAS (named ‘elephant’):
“2024 Aug 18 10:24:57 elephant3 root : unable to resolve host elephant: Name or service not known”
Is there a way of forcing the NAS off the domain ?
