Cloudsync + crypt != view from local rclone

TrueNAS version: Scale 24.04.1.1

I have a CloudSync that copies a dataset to B2. I’m using the same password and salt as my local rclone install. I can view files on the cli locally using rclone but cannot view the crypt. Of course if I copy a file down locally it has the expected .bin extension. How is the TrueNAS use of rclone diffrent that I cannot decrypt and restore from the local cli?
