Contact Active Directory to access or verify claim types

Hello everyone,

I’m sharing a few datasets via SMB with Active Directory (Windows Server 2022 Std).

I’ve set the ACL to:

User
MyDomain\Administrator
Group
My domain\domain admins

and added a group “Editors” in the ACL with Traverse permission. Then in a few subfolders I wanted to add permissions to that group to allow them to edit and create new files.

This works as expected, but I received the message “Unable to contact Active Directory to access or verify claim types." at the bottom of the advanced permissions tab.

I think I have configured the domain correctly on TrueNAS and DNS as well.

When I do a share within Windows Server, I don’t have this message, only when sharing with TrueNAS.

Is there a way to fix this?
