And noone is forced to update to EE when it releases, they could wait for the clustertool to get out of RC or beta and then try the options it offers to export the configs and try to re-create their apps in docker with the help of the exported config.

And not only do you not have to “upgrade” to EE as soon as it’s released, it’s rarely a good idea to upgrade to a .0 release from iX.
