Did some tests, tried to access snapshot but was unable for some reason.

Which tests? How is this snapshot “on another pool” related to the situation? Is it a snapshot from tank2 which could now be useful to restore?

I deleted my snapshot dataset and all snapshots in tank2.

My main tank 2 pool is not locked by the encryption root that is now the clone!

Sorry, I’m not able to parse this sentence.
Please explain again. Do you had encryption to begin with? Have you tried to add encryption to the clone?
