Having worked without issue for years, my backups have been failing due to not being able to resolve the Backblaze servers. The log message seems to give IPv6 addresses:
Error: 2024/09/02 18:18:08 Failed to create file system for “remote:”: failed to authorize account: failed to authenticate: Get “https://api.backblazeb2.com/b2api/v1/b2_authorize_account”: dial tcp: lookup api.backblazeb2.com on [2a0a:ef40:e4:6c01:684d:b130:79bd:498a]:53: read udp [2a0a:ef40:e4:6c01:3aea:a7ff:fea9:341b]:39782->[2a0a:ef40:e4:6c01:684d:b130:79bd:498a]:53: i/o timeout
I have only configured IPv4 addresses in the Network settings. If I change the nameservers and save them, the credentials will work, but when the next backup starts, I will have the same issue again.
Can anyone help me, I’m guessing it’s an internal issue, but really not sure why or how it’s started.
