Do not start after installation

Hello together
I got myself some really massive hardware for a new TrueNas.
After installing the latest version, TrueNas unfortunately does not start from the local storage medium. I have tried it on the M.2. as well as on a normal SSD.
To rule out that the hardware has a bug, I installed Debian 12. This installation does what it is supposed to… boots normally from the internal storage medium.
Now I’m starting to panic
How do I get TrueNas to run?

Answer: Use a doodah to make the whatsit appear properly.

Seriously - how are we meant to have a clue when you give us almost zero information.

Post your hardware to start with - we may ask for additional info afterwards

Of course

Board: MSI PRO Z790-P WIFI
M.2.: WD Blue SN (512)

What else is important?

what doesnt start exactly ? what do you see on screen ? what errors ?

Latest vendor BIOS updates installed? Boot set to EFI only?

Yep… UEFI only… there is only UEFI or CSM… but with CSM I have no Video signal… so only UEFI.

Bios is the latest on board.

Try to disable secure boot ?

Unfortunately, nothing changes when I switch off Secure Boot.
I do not understand why TrueNAS does not boot like any other Linux distribution.

I had previously tried the core version. I saw that there is also a scale version.
So I created a new stick with it. But unfortunately even worse. I can’t even install it. An error message appears and the computer shuts down.

"Verifying shim SBAT data failed: Security Policy Violation
Somthing has gone seriously wrong: SBAT self-check failed: Security Policy Voilation

This is " Secure Boot Advanced Targeting", so secure boot might not yet be disabled after all.

Another attempt to get help.
Unfortunately, I still can’t install TrueNas so that it starts from the SSD or the M.2.
I was able to install all other Linux distributions on a test basis and they then start normally from the local storage medium.
Only TrueNas just won’t do it.
I also searched in vain for an old FreeNas 9.x version to download, just to give it a try.

What is different with TrueNas compared to the other Linux distributions?
Why does TrueNas not use the usual startup procedure as with other Linux systems?
How can I still make TrueNas bootable?
The installation would work without errors.

I can see… the community can’t help me any further.
Is there an official support service where I can report my problem? If so, where?

Sorry again.

As a test I installed Proxmox virtualization first and then TrueNas on Proxmox.
Running. But then it can’t be that TrueNas only runs via this detour.

Proxmox may be able to use SecureBoot and TrueNAS, can’t

If this is really the only problem with TrueNas, I wonder why they haven’t made TrueNas ‘Secure Boot’ capable like every system I’ve installed so far. And there are quite a few of them
