Domain validation failed with error - After Update to new version (TrueNAS-13.0-U6.4)

Hello all.
I just upgraded to the latest TrueNas version (TrueNAS-13.0-U6.4). After the system booted up, all my network shares to the TrueNas server displayed an X.
Looking in the ALERTS, I get this error.

Domain validation failed with error: [ENOENT] Failed to discover Active Directory Domain Controller for domain. This may indicate a DNS misconfiguration.

Everything had been running great until I did the update.
I read about previous issues in which an Update broke the Active Directory connection and that reinstalling the system would fix the problem.

That seems a bit extreme. The developers must do better testing before releasing updates that could potentially break people’s network connections with the TrueNas system.

Any ideas besides a reinstall?
If that is the only option, then that is what I will have to do.

Thank you.
Wayne

OK. This is what I did to resolve the issue.
Removed TrueNas from the Active Directory.
Added it back in.
Rebooted TrueNas.
I rebooted the client several times before it would see the shares.
I created a network share, and wa-la, everything is back up and running.

Glad you got it sorted. Just to reassure other users I have updated about 6 systems so far that were AD joined and have not seen this behaviour and all went smoothly.
