I think I have to toss in the towel re: putting UEFI boot back into place. Not sure what is up with the installer media for 24.10.2.1 or even 25.04 (created via belenaEtcher).
When I first installed TrueNAS Scale Angelfish on my Supermicro X10DRH server, UEFI boot detected the USB installer media every time. But only LEGACY boot works as expected now.
Either way I pushed forward and upgraded to Fangtooth and have no known issues.
