The answer to this will probably be “wait and see” or “submit a feature request” - but since I didn’t see it mentioned in the announcement thread, will we be able to run the docker daemon as a non-root user for security purposes? If it’s not an option in the web UI, does anyone anticipate that this is something we could set via CLI?
You could set it up in a Sandbox

Yes I figure that’ll probably be the route I take. Sandbox with namespacing and then Docker daemon running as non-root.
I’ll just submit it as a feature request and see what comes of it. The only reason I ask is that it would be nice to make use of the backup and restore feature that Kris mentioned if one were to use the official implementation of Docker in Electric Eel rather than sandbox.
