Yesterday I moved from Cobia to Dragonfish 24.04.
My Apps stopped working. I get the error message (see attached pictures).
I’m a complete novice.

The answer is there. You need to either:
-
Move your apps location to a different pool whose root is not shared; or
-
Rework your datasets and / or your SMB shares so that the root of the pool isn’t shared.
If you want to post details of your pools, datasets and SMB shares, we can probably provide you with a more detailed solution.
I’m Stuck!!! When I upgrade from Cobia to Dragonfish I get app services failed to start. I get a similar error to the above screen capture, but mine says used by NFS services. Can I take the NFS share off the main pool root or will that kill NFS for the whole pool?
Also, when I try to make a new folder to move everything it only shows the root of the drive and not the new directory. When i select the pool it says ix-applications already exits, DUH… I am obviously missing something. TIA
