Failed to start docker service

Ugh. Now I’ve gone and done it. I updated to the latest Electric Eel nightly, and the Apps service will not start.

Error in Apps service. Failed to start docker service.

I’ve already tried Unsetting the pool and rebooting.

Am I hosed? Anything I should try before I restore from backup?

Go back to your previous boot environment?

PS: Which nightly exactly?

Oh! If only all problems in life were that easy to fix. Back up and running fine.

24.10.0-MASTER-20240916-035831 is the one that hosed the Apps service. I’ll leave this up as a monument to my hubris.

Nightly would probably be the worst place to update to in general.

For sure. I flew too close to the sun. Lesson learned.
