New to truenas here. I’m running 25.04.0 version and for some reason my app catalogue will no longer come up. It gives me a Critical error " Failed to sync TRUENAS catalog: [EFAULT] Failed to clone ‘GitHub - truenas/apps’ repository at ‘/mnt/.ix-apps/truenas_catalog’ destination: [EFAULT] Failed to clone ‘GitHub - truenas/apps’ repository at ‘/mnt/.ix-apps/truenas_catalog’ destination: Cloning into ‘/mnt/.ix-apps/truenas_catalog’…" I’ve been following almost every other fix, unsetting and re-setting the pool, system restart, network restart, nothing is working. The apps where working well 4 days ago, but now I got nothing. Any help would be appreciated.
Are you using an adblocker or alternative DNS server etc?
I faced the same situation and changed the DNS server inside truenas fixing the issue.
I recommend updating to 25.04.1, that is the supported version of Fangtooth.
If the System → Update also throws an error it’s likely your issue is something in the core network configuration of the server.
I have the same issue. No app catalogue or any installed Apps showing.
I have gone back to 24.10 for now,
Thank you for the replies from all, but at this point I think I changed something in the network settings that I can’t figure out because my Nas won’t even contact the internet, I can’t even update or revert versions. I am just going to do a fresh install.
We could probably figure that out with some assistance from you, it’s typically a setting on the Network page that’s incorrect, usually the default gateway or lack of/wrong DNS server(s).
Posting a screenshot of your network settings would give us a starting point.
