via SMB? if yes - have you googled “samba veto files”?
That hides the files from the SMB clients but does not prohibit upload of these.
Can I assume hides the files from the SMB client - then it can’t be access or excluded? (just wondering)
Add a cronjob to delete those extension afterwards - hehe?
It can’t be accessed. But you can still upload them to the share as far as I know.
