Since we’re asking very much starter questions I’ll toss in this warning; TrueNAS wants an entire drive for the operating system EXCLUSIVELY. Your data, apps (like plex), any VMs, etc will have to live on drive(s) separate from the TrueNAS operating system.
I’d recommend spending a few days just reading up on in the “Resources” section. It’ll save you a lot of headaches.
