How to change login from root to a user? And disable root login?
Which version of SCALE are you running? Because at least the last couple of major releases would have strongly recommended this during installation. But in any event, to make any non-root user an administrator, add the user to the builtin_administrators group. To disable root login, turn on “Disable Password” for the root user.
im on Dragonfish-24.04.0. sorry forgot to include that im new.
and iv’e been staying up to date on the version of truenas.
i started with version 22.12.3.3. And it never made me setup this.
