Hard drives from the same batch

Hi,

I have a 6 drive wide raidz2 pool composed of 4TB drives.

I bought a batch of used 6TB toshiba enterprise drives.

My plan is to replace the drives in my pool one by one.

I however have an issue: the new drives are all from the same batch. All have the same run hours. I know mixing drives is recommended to decrease the odds of multiple drives failing simultaneously.

What do I do? Should I just replace all drives in succession? Or leave a week between each 2 drives? Or a month maybe?

I did burn in testing and drives are fine. I also have 2 drives for spares.

How badly did I screw up?

Not at all, other than perhaps in making too small of an upgrade.

It’s an additional 8 TB of space

Do you think I should just resilver then without waiting?

You’ve burned them in, and none of them are showing any errors–I’d go ahead and do it. Replace one, then the next, etc. I don’t see any reason to wait in between replacements.

Just to decrease the odds of a simultaneous failure.

But if you think it’s fine then be it. Thank you
