[HELP] GUI, ssh, Nextcloud, Jellyfin unresponsive, while the rest still works

I had an issues that happened already for the third or fourth time in the last month or so.
Suddently I got alert that my Nextcloud is offline, when I check I try to login to TrueNAS Scale with GUI but it’s like loading forever after entering the password. Same with SSH, there is a response but it hangs and never get connected.

However when I check my running apps, most are still working fine beside Jellyfin (still stuck with truechart version) and Invidious (TrueNAS version) in addition to Nextcloud (TrueNAS version as well). Paperless, Sonarr, Radarr, qbittorrent from truechart as well as Nginx, Wordpress and some custom docker app from TrueNAS are still working fine.

The only way to get it back is to force shutdown with the power button and restart.

How can I try to investigate the issues? Which log and where should I check?

Which version of TrueNAS are you running?

Investigate your memory usage.

I was running 24.04.1 but after last time I got the issue I took the opportunity to update to 24.04.2. However the issue happened already in the version before 24.04.1 (don’t remember which one I was) as I already updated once after the second or third time I got the issue.

Memory looks fine when I look at it, 29GB for device, 28GB for ZFS cache, 4GB free, but I can only check after restart so I don’t know if it was out of memory when it crashed.
