Hmm. Makes sense cause i remember when importing the pool, it always asks if the pool is encrypted. Any other way to check within GUI?
To rule out confusion, the output of that command is more useful. We can use the GUI next if needed.
Is that everything? If it is, then it means no native ZFS encryption is being used on any dataset in that pool.
The file I mentioned was indeed the latest compiled binary available on their github. Your problem unzipping the file probably stemed from the file not being zipped. The error message you got when you tried told you so and the file ending does give hints.
tar -xf openSeaChest-v26.03.0-freebsd_13_5-x86_64.tar.xz would have done it.
