Immich Not detecting Isolated AMD card

Hi,

Hope someone can give some advice on a small issue I’m facing, hoping that the reply from the community will help me to learn more about TrueNAS.

I’ve extra GPU laying around, so I connected one of it to my TrueNAS. It is a MSI RX480, a AMD card. I manage to see the card showing in the Isolated GPU section in the system page. Does this means that the driver of the card is “workable” with my TrueNAS and that’s why it is showing there? If yes, why in the Immich setting page, under the GPU selection, I can’t see the MSI card there? The only option available is 0.

I googled here and there, but couldn’t find the answer .

Can anyone advise me about this.?

Isolated GPUs are used for VMs. Deselect the GPU you want to use for the app from the Isolated GPU section, restart Truenas, and then it should show available for the app.

I am currently having an issue with my AMD card staying on. I have also read that AMD cards can not be shared with other apps, Nvidia cards can be used for multiple apps.
