Steps to reproduce the issue:
- Navigate to the Network screen
- Look for the MAC interfaces’ addresses
- They’re not there
This means a user must drill down into each interface to identify the MAC address. Makes some operations more prone to error.
I think that this missing information is a regression from CORE.
There’s a feature request for a more elaborate expansion of information the Network screen but this is for something more humble and quicker to implement.
Having the description shown too would be useful, especially for bridge interfaces. On my server I have six NICs and several bridge interfaces and need to see from a glance what’s doing what (because we all forget the implementation detail with time).
Really, any data in scope at the time the page is built could be included on this screen.
