Just a quick question, but I am testing out a new case with my server components transferred across to it. Prior to removing the components from the older case. All I did was shutdown the TrueNAS Core 13.3 before hand, no pool export because I’m planning on using the same boot disks. The volumes were healthy when I shut down
Before booting with the boot disks, I decided to install a fresh copy of TrueNAS Core 13.3 on a USB drive for testing purposes first.
So far it was fine, even kicked off a pool import of my existing pools, but the weird thing is after the pool was imported (still showing as healthy) it kicked off a scrub process as part of the pool import.
I don’t remember this ever doing that in the past with the import process, this is not the first time I have done this.
It doesn’t mention anywhere in the documentation for the pool import process that it will kick off the scrub as well:
Could someone enlighten me if this is a change in the behaviour for TrueNAS Core 13.3 ?
The hardware spec’s are in my signature the only alteration is the fact that Im currently booting off a USB disk for the test version of TrueNAS Core 13.3
