I have a windows 11 VM installed on TNS bare metal and works fine.
I now want to install Cisco Modelling Lab vm either directly on TNS or within the Windows 11 vm. One requirement is that I need to access CML from anywhere.
I have tried installing directly on TNS but the image is an OVA and I believe that TNS does not support this?
So I tried installing the CML vm on vmware in Win vm. It installs fine but when I try to launch I get the following error appear:
VMware Workstation and Hyper-V are not compatible. Remove the Hyper-V role from the system before running VMware Workstation.
I then checked Win features and both Win Hypervisor Platform and Virtual Machine Platform are unchecked.
I then checked the Win vm settings on TNS and unchecked Enable Hyper-V Enlightenments and saved. I assume this is what vmware is referring to?
When trying to launching Win vm and it just hangs on boot.
Any ideas?
