Installing and using fast_dedup in scale from zfs-2.3.0-rc3?

I have a test system and eagerly waiting for fast_dedup to become available. Does anyone have any recommended setup steps (or .deb packages available) that contain Release zfs-2.3.0-rc3 · openzfs/zfs · GitHub ?

Has there been any official word from TrueNAS on how soon once zfs-2.3.0 goes live it would take for us to get the official update?

It’s in TrueNAS 24.10 … but the only way of using is via the Linux CLI. It is “experimental” only until further notice.

Until we have tested and verified, any user should expect to find bugs and maybe lose data.

any quick and dirty cook book on what commands are needed to use it?

I’ll try to search github tomorrow otherwise.
