Is it possible to get Minimserver on TrueNAS Scale?

Hello everyone, I am new here and have been running TrueNAS for a while now at home. I have read the Docs and am beyond stumped here. I am new to the Linux world as well. Here is my question:

Is it possible to get Minimserver running in a docker image on TrueNAS Scale?

https://registry.hub.docker.com/r/minimworld/minimserver/

My answer would be sure, can’t tell you how but I looked at the doc and don’t see why not. You would create a “custom app” in Scale. The doc seems to show hostpaths you would need, covers licensing, etc.

Doc link is busted on the docker hub page, but here it is

As @sfatula said, the answer should be yes.

You might be better off waiting until SCALE 24.10 is released, because that’ll give you native Docker Compose support, so this might be easier. But even under 24.04, it looks like it should be possible. The relevant docs appear to be here:
https://minimserver.com/running-container.html#Running_MinimServer_in_a_Docker_container_on_Linux

As @sfatula says, it’d be a “custom app” in SCALE; the docs for that are here:
