how do i erase the known hosts on scale 25.04.2. there is no option to rediscover remote host key so i need to delete the hosts file on the source mahcine.
[EACCES] Remote host identification has changed. Someone could be eavesdropping on you right now (man-in-the-middle attack)! It is also possible that a host key has just been changed. The fingerprint for the RSA key sent by the remote host is 1e:6d:96:7f:9a:44:6d:be:a4:dd:d5:b5:80:59:71:83. Please edit your SSH connection and click “Discover Remote Host Key” to resolve this issue.

If I read your question correctly.
In Truenas GUI, Go to Credentials Backup Credentials then edit the credential causing the issue. Click on Discover Remote Host Key.
The SSH key pairs are in the same Backup Credentials page under SSH Keypairs if needing to edit those.
tried that…deleted all credentials in the gui rebooted…and then tried regenerating…however there is no option to discover the remote ssh.
What if you, on the client system, look for the entry related to the remote host in ~/.ssh/known_hosts and remove it?
i went ahead and jsut reloaded the client system back to core and then…i found the discover remote key on the FT system…so i am getting my data back onto my primary now…once i do that i can either reload to EE tog et around the samba regression in FT or go back to core on the backup as well or do something else…
