.ix-apps folder is somehow nearly completely wiped clean

sooo i don’t know when or how this occurred, but my /mnt/.ix-apps folder is nearly empty except a single docker folder & what i can guess is a backup of said folder. any time i try to view my apps or datasets, i get thrown this error

looking with the shell using zfs list | grep ix-apps, it looks like my things are still on the disk, but i’m not sure what i should do to set things straight or how to go about fixing this

Try running

sudo zfs mount app-pool/ix-apps

ok, tried that and it returned with
cannot mount 'app-pool/ix-apps': encryption key not loaded

so i tried again running with zfs mount -l app-pool/ix-apps and got this in return
Key load error: Failed to open key material file: No such file or directory
