Jail package kernel mismatch

Is it safe to ignore this mismatch inside a jail? I would usually wait for an update but I doubt Core will be getting many updates in the future.

Newer FreeBSD version for package zziplib:
To ignore this error set IGNORE_OSVERSION=yes
package: 1304000
running kernel: 1303001
Ignore the mismatch and continue? [y/N]:

anyone?

TrueNAS Core version?

Jail creation method and FreeBSD version of the jail?

13.3-U1
Jails are all created manually and are on 13.3 P7
Normally I would wait for a newer version of Core to drop when jail packages are on a newer kernel, but I’m not sure if/when that will come with the current state of Core.

You’ll need to upgrade your jails to FreeBSD 13.4-RELEASE.

13.3 is EOL.

Ok, that is safe to do on a 13.3 base?

Working for me.

We don’t really have any other choice, since Core’s base (currently on FreeBSD 13.3) will never see an ugprade.
