The bridge is only a logical interface; it does not replace the physical members.
Whatver goes through the bridge has to pass through one of the physical members of the bridge. So you need to configure both the bridge and the physical interfaces.

Correct me if I’m wring, but if you set jumbo frame on the physical NIC and then set the bridge or bond for that matter it would not let you select that specific NIC because it would tell you that is already n use, vise verse.
I have tried this and it would not let you, at least in the GUI. I have a LACP Lagg bond set to jumbo frame but on both phisycal NIC on the GUI shows as 1500, but the command all 3 shows as 9000. bond and both phisycal.
