did you change s th on the hw config since last upgrade btw? Ramsize?
I haven’t made any changes to the hardware config. This box has been happily running TrueNAS Core for years. Thought I would try switching to Scale so I installed 24.10 about a month ago. This was my first attempt at an upgrade with Scale. RAM size is 32 GB ECC.
I was able to install 25.04 from a USB key and get everything up and running again. I had a single Ubuntu VM running in the previous version that I had to spend some time on but it is also working properly now. Hopefully the next upgrade will go smoother

This worked for me after I ran into the kernel panic after doing the GUI upgrade, thanks @hamn
