Link aggregation after migration from Core 13.0-U6.8 to Scale 24.04.2.5

I just migrated from Core 13.0-U6.8 to Scale 24.04.2.5. The system works ok. I checked the link aggregation settings and found bond0 instead of lagg0 before:

The bond0 does not show any Link Aggregation Interfaces.

It seems the aggregation works but the UI does not show the interfaces since they changed names also. Is this a potential problem?

I’m reluctant to delete the aggregation to add a new one, since it will kill the network connection. What should I do?

Reconfigure the network from a console (monitor & keyboard, KVM, IPMI …) probably.

The member interfaces are only visible when you open up bond0 for editing, though. Looks like this:

Complete the tutorial you were invited to when you joined the forum.

I hooked up a monitor/keyboard and went through the console setup but in the end this was not necessary. I did not recognise I could make multiple changes to the network interface and test them before committing to them.

In the end I used the UI, removed the Link Aggregation and set up a new one. In the new one the individual interfaces showed up proper. Job done!

I finished the tutorial two days ago but was not allowed to post media until now :smiling_face:

After fixing the network issue I did upgrade to 24.10 and then to 25.04 without problems.
