Given that all those moves made around smart functions cut, to me, are very questionable decisions… i would suggest you to seriously evaluate the Multi report script, because It offers way more smarter to perform smart tests, and many other advantage (config backup, complete email report, … ); and to be honest, i would have suggested this script also before those removal
