Missing Replication Task

Hello Community,

I have something strange here… currently running 13.0-U6.2 with 4 replication tasks. But somehow (maybe during an update inside 13.0), one task is missing but still running in the background?

When querying with “midclt call replication.query” I just see 3 task as shown in the UI - but the 4th is hiding somewhere in the system. When the destination is not reachable (just occurred during a network failure), I got only errors and recovery notifications from the 3 remaining tasks and they are working again after fixing the issue. But task 4 is also still working…

So… how to find it? Or how to remove it, so I can configure it as a new task?

The only traces I could find, are in the zettarepl.log where the missing task is logging it’s activities.

Hello and welcome to the forums.

Can you print screen your replication window and share please.

Thanks for your reply. Here we got… as mentioned: everything fine beside the missing task.

What’s the path to the missing rep ie pool/dataset etc?

it‘s similar to the others. from tank/private to tank/backup-b4-private on the same destination machine. and it‘s working. just not visible here.

Bizarre. What did you upgrade from and too when this happened?

Sorry, no idea. Must have been somewhere inside the 13.0 branch. Never had an eye on this because everything was (and still ist) working fine. Any idea, where (an how) to find some config file or database entry containing all these tasks?

Update: Just rolled back to U6 - all 4 tasks are showing up. Now upgraded to U6.2 again and all tasks are still shown. Now I will have an eye on that.
