Hi everyone,
This is just an information post in case anyone else comes across the same issue. Not sure if it is a board, BIOS, or CPU specific issue, but this new build booted fine the first time and then was freezing at the “Begin sleeping for …” print on every subsequent boot.
TrueNAS Scale 24.10.2
Motherboard: CW-ADLN-NAS with Intel Core 3 N355 processor.
Core Version: 5.27
Project Version: CW-ADLN-NAS B02
The solution was to change the
Advanced > Power & Performance > CPU - Power Management Control > C states to either Disabled or C6. If you go to C7 or higher the freezing occurs.
