Need help resetting qBitTorrent on TrueNAS

I screwed myself over somehow.

I was trying to install qBitTorrent from scratch from the TrueNAS chart yesterday and managed to run it well at first, but then I noticed that all the torrents I tried to start would end up “errored” immediately.

So I tried changing users and permissions, only the end up breaking it somehow. I then tried deleting the app and reinstalling with default parameters only to end up, once deployed, on a black page with the words “unauthorized” on it, nothing else.

My installation has all the parameters left at default, except for an extra storage I put on another volume. This actually deploys, but leaves me on the black page when I try to access the WebUI.

If I instead try to change the user to admin PID and GID, the app becomes unable to deploy.

Can anyone help me fix this? I don’t understand what I’m doing wrong.

After the panic died down and I had a few hours to sleep over it (and watch someone actually demonstrate the issue on youtube), I discovered that the webgui for a fresh qBitTorrent doesn’t load the username/password page.

You had to go into the address bar and just press enter, no need to modify the address, nothing.

Just had to re-enter the f***ing app IP address… :sob:
