Hello all
I just did a fresh bare metal install of truenas scale.
After creating the pool ,datasets, shares and credentials i needed to install rsync.
However when i go to the app section of the gui i see nothing. If i click on discover apps, nothing happens
how i do fix this?

Have you assigned the apps a pool to use first using the drop down options?

when accessing Apps i should ask for the pool to chose.

So there is no “settings->choose pool” to select? if it didn’t prompt that doesn’t mean to can’t assign it manually…assuming you have the option there?

I decided to re-install truena s and now it work.
I do not knowwhat i did wrong the fist time nor what i did correctly now.

Hi I am new to TRUENAS and I have the same problem listed above. That said I did not build the system I bought of someone else and he mentioned everything was working fine. I was able to assign the App pool but it looks like I still do not see any apps. Anyone able to help?

As i mentioned, i saw no other way to do this.
Re-install truenas, load the media (existing datasets), rebuild shares and acls
add apps and reconfigure them
If you see the pool did you reboot truenas?
I had to reinstall everything all over again and now everything shows
