[Not Accepted] TrueNAS as Docker Container

Problem/Justification
Only option now to run TrueNAS is on bare-metal, or VM.

Impact
Wider range of users which would be able to run truenas on Docker, k8s or else.
Easier update/upgrade mechanism.
New ways of integration of TrueNAS (as storage backend for k8s-like systems).

User Story
TrueNAS besides bare-metal OS also could be obtainer as docker container, which would control devices with device passthrough, leaving all the good things (like web management) and easy upgradeability.

Following the idea, also would be amazing to have official CSI driver which would use TrueNAS API/TrueNAS container to provide PV/PVCs to k8s clusters (like SDS).

TrueNAS devs would have zero control over the kernel everything is running on, including what version the kernel’s ZFS module is or what features it has been compiled with. If any problems arose, they’d get the blame even if it wasn’t their fault.

I don’t see this happening.
